FUNCTIONAL INTERVAL TRAINING
We focus our workouts around functional movements which involves training the body for the activities performed in everyday life. In our 45 minute program you will get to warm up, workout and wind down with a stretch to ensure we are promoting good/safe workout practices. Below are the formats of our predesigned workouts that you can expect to see:
Interval Training: A series of high intensity or strength based movements combined with rest periods that are typically shorter than your working interval.
AMRAP (as many rounds as possible): You are preforming as many rounds as possible in a pre-determined period of time, taking rest as needed. This popular format is simple and it allows you to gradually enhance your strength and aerobic capacity with as little as your body weight.
EMOM (every minute on the minute): A workout that will challenge you to complete an exercise for a pre-determined number of reps (15 or less depending on the exercise) in less than 60 seconds. The remaining time within the minute serves as your recovery.
